How can I prevent/remove bubbles?

Before applying the screen protector, please read the instruction manual, watch our installation video, or follow the guide below.

Installation Guide

  1. Thoroughly clean the screen with the provided cleaning kit.
  2. Set the UltraFit tray on a flat surface and place the phone screen-side down in the alignment tray.
  3. Close the tray and press down with your palm in the center of the frame, applying moderate, even pressure.
  4. Pull the tab out smoothly and steadily to apply the screen protector.

Dealing with Bubbles and White Edges

Bubbles under your device's screen protector are most likely caused by dust or air trapped between the screen and the protector.

  1. If bubbles appear in the center of the screen, gently lift the edge of the screen protector near any bubbles (don't fully remove it), press down, and push toward the edge. Use the scraper to smooth it out.
  2. If bubbles appear near the edge of the screen gently press with your finger or use the microfiber cloth to smooth them out.
  3. White edges are usually caused by the screen’s curvature; press down firmly with your finger until they disappear.

Important Notes

Always remove any existing screen protector before applying a new one.

Bubbles on the product’s protective liner (both top and bottom) are normal and will not affect the actual application.

If bubbles remain after following the above steps, please contact ESR for further assistance.

How do I get a replacement if the product I received is used or damaged?

Please send us a photo of the item you received, along with your shipping address, and we will send a free replacement.

What should I do if my touchscreen feels less responsive after installing the screen protector?

If your touchscreen feels less responsive after applying the screen protector, try the following:

  1. Clean both the screen and your fingers with a soft cloth to remove oil, sweat, or lotion residue that may affect touch sensitivity.
  2. Go to your phone’s “Display” or “Accessibility” settings and increase the touch sensitivity.
Do the UltraFit trays help remove dust during installation?

Yes. Each UltraFit kit includes an alcohol wipe and a cleaning cloth to help prepare your screen before application. ESR screen protectors feature a dust-repellent adhesive, so when you place your phone in the tray, pulling the tab automatically removes dust from the screen. The UltraFit tray is designed to ensure perfect alignment, which significantly reduces the chances of air bubbles, resulting in a smooth, bubble-free, and dust-free installation.

What should I do if the edges of the screen protector won’t adhere to the screen?

Issues with the edges not sticking are usually caused by one of two factors.

  1. White edges or bubbles – These occur because the edges of your phone screen are slightly curved, leaving tiny air gaps after application. Press firmly along the edges to push out the air. A slight rebound is normal; just press again for a few seconds to ensure proper adhesion.
  2. Case pressure – A third-party case that is too tight or has high inner edges can press against the glass and cause it to lift. We recommend using ESR cases, which are precisely designed for perfect compatibility with our screen protectors.
