Die Hülle ist eigentlich genau das was ich ewig gesucht habe. Eine super Tastatur, eine Halterung durch die Hülle ähnlich dem MagicKeyboard von Apple und zusätzlich aber noch eine eigene dünne Schutzhülle um das iPad, damit man es von der magnetischen Hülle abnehmen kann und es dennoch geschützt ist. Gibt kaum etwas schlimmeres als ein blankes Tablet auf einen Tisch zu legen.Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Da wo der Apple Pencil befestigt wird, hält und lädt der Pen trotz Hülle wunderbar. Dort wäre aber eine Aussparung wie ich sie mir selbst gebastelt habe noch von Vorteil. So kann man nämlich (wie auf den Bildern zu sehen) den Apple Pencil samt einer Silikonhülle/Schreibhilfe dort magnetisch befestigen und lädt dann sogar noch. Ich kenne nämlich kaum jemanden, der seinen Pen Blank benutzt.Trotzdem gebe ich 5 Sterne, denn so wie die Hülle entwickelt und gedacht ist, erfüllt sie alles geforderte wunderbar. Dieses beschriebene Upgrade würde die Hülle aber nochmal aufwerten ;)
Bei Textarbeiten ist diese Zusatz Tastatur eine große Hilfe. Zum einen wird der Bildschirm nicht zur Hälfte belegt mit Tasten zum anderen sind beide Hände frei und es muss auch nicht permanent umgeschaltet werden.
Ich bin mit dem Case wirklich sehr zu frieden. Alles funktioniert wie es soll, auch der Pencil lädt einwandfrei.Lediglich das Gewicht ist ggf. Gewöhnungsbedürftig da hier ja ein eigener Akku verbaut ist, …eine logische Konsequenz.

No. The keyboard case is designed to be used with a caseless iPad or the included magnetic back case. It cannot be used with an iPad with another case.
If I use it in portrait will it be as stable as in landscape?
Yes. The keyboard case supports landscape, portrait, and raised screen view. Strong magnets in the back cover line up with those in your iPad and back case to ensure a secure lock and a stable stand. When using your iPad in portrait or raised screen view modes, it must have the included back case on; only landscape mode supports use with a caseless iPad.
How do I connect the bluetooth?
First short press right/left option + B to put the keyboard into pairing mode. Once in pairing mode, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Other Devices and connect to “ESR Keyboard”. Check out the video for full instructions on how to connect your keyboard.
Can I change the brightness of the backlight?
Yes. Press right/left option + backlight key (in top left corner) to turn the backlight on or off and adjust the brightness level (low, medium, high).

When AssistiveTouch is enabled, it can cause the trackpad to become unresponsive. To fix this issue, disable AssistiveTouch by going to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Turn off “AssistiveTouch”.
