The Phone Grip Stand magnetically snaps onto the iPhone 12 series and later models with built-in MagSafe magnets. It also attaches to Apple MagSafe cases and ESR magnetic cases.

If you have an iPhone without built-in magnets, a Samsung Galaxy, a Google Pixel, or another phone? Stick one of the 2 included metal rings on the back of your phone or case, and the grip stand will attach to it. A metal ring doesn’t hold as firmly as built-in MagSafe magnets.

The magnetic hold depends on your setup. You can use the Phone Grip Stand without a case if your iPhone has built-in MagSafe magnets. For non-MagSafe phones, you can use the included metal ring, though this setup provides the weakest hold.

Bare iPhone with built-in MagSafe magnets: Up to 1,600 g of holding force
With an Apple MagSafe case or ESR magnetic case: Up to 3,000 g of holding force

The Phone Grip Stand uses two layers of N52 magnets and an iron layer for a strong magnetic connection. For a more secure hold, especially when carrying your phone throughout the day, we recommend using an Apple MagSafe case or an ESR magnetic case.

Yes. Adjust the two rings from 0° to 125° to prop your phone up in portrait or landscape orientation. You can also clamp the grip behind an airplane or train seatback tray table to keep your hands free.

The grip is magnetic on both sides, so the outer side attaches to magnetic car mounts and flat metal surfaces wider than 58 mm, such as fridge doors or gym equipment. Before use, make sure the mount or surface can securely support your phone’s weight.

No. The grip sits between your phone and the wireless charger, so you’ll need to remove it before charging wirelessly.
