But it will have rounded corners and a flat aluminum frame.

If you have been following through the updates I give, you’ll discover that I am tech savvy. I believe the better the chipset in a device, the better the overall performance of that device. As such, I can tell you that the Samsung Galaxy s25 plus will be a very impressive device and the reason is because it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This processor will definitely offer significant performance improvements over the Samsung Galaxy s24 plus. Hold off on that thought a bit… I know what you’re thinking right now. I am not going to be judgemental here, nah! We all know that both Apple and Samsung models are unique in their own ways. Of course, that’s a given. Regardless, we’re going to do a quick breakdown:
Size and Resolution
Not long after the iPhone 16 plus was launched, I got one and checked out its specs. It has 1290 x 2796 pixels (460 PPI) which is quite impressive! However, the Samsung Galaxy s25 plus has a higher resolution of 3088 x 1440 pixels (509 PPI).
Refresh Rate and RAM
I also checked out the RAM and Refresh rate and I am convinced that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus has a better refresh rate (120Hz) for smoother scrolling and better responsiveness. The iPhone 16 Plus only has a 60Hz refresh rate. For RAM, the iPhone 16 Plus has 8GB which is cool. But the Galaxy S25 Plus offer more (12GB RAM).
Camera and Video Recording
Where are my photo lovers and videographers? The next thing I checked was the camera and video recording. The Samsung Galaxy s25 plus has triple camera setup and they include a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 12MP ultra-wide and 50MP main sensor. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Plus has dual-camera system which include a 12MP ultra-wide camera and 48MP main sensor. Now this is what makes the Samsung Galaxy s25 plus more crazy! The Galaxy S25 Plus supports 8K video recording, isn’t that amazing! But the iPhone 16 Plus can only record in 4K.
